Adjust the paddle. Raise one of your arms as if you were doing a pull up. The other hand should be holding your paddle upright, parallel to your body, with your paddle’s blade touching the ground. Adjust your paddle to the height of the top of your hand in the air. Make sure to adjust until your paddle’s grip fits comfortable around the palm of your hand.
Wear the leash around your ankle or calf at all times. Start and end paddling on your knees.
Place your feet at the same level of the handle in the middle of your board. Stand feet shoulder-width apart; put one hand on the t-grip and one on the shaft; look at the horizon; and keep your knees flexed.
Make sure the paddle blade (sticker side) angles away from you. Place the paddle in the water at arm’s length and draw it back along the board, keeping your top hand and blade perpendicular.
Switch side/hand after 2 or 3 paddle strokes.
Keep right. Look around you and keep your eyes on the water traffic. You’re not the only one on the water, especially on hot summer days!
Last but not least: enjoy to the fullest!

Should you gaze out of the window to grey skies and rain don’t be put off. With the right paddling apparel there’s really no reason a spot of rain should halt your supping. While it’s certainly lovely to be out paddling on calm water with sunny skies in effect this scenario is a ‘nice to have’. Absolutely make the most of good conditions but also, when it’s not so idyllic, make the most of opportunities to get afloat. If it rains, no sessions will be cancelled or rescheduled (and no refunds will be made).
Safety first! If a storm is coming up (bft 5 or more) we will inform you in time to reschedule.

Although our lockers are built by the best, unfortunately mechanical or technical problems can occur. Please follow the instructions step by step and try to open the locker with your phone multiple times. If the locker still refuses to open, please call our customer service. We will be happy to help.
We recommend you to wear comfortable clothing given the weather conditions on the day of your booking. On hot days, you won’t need to think too hard about what to wear while paddle boarding. Swimwear, quick-drying shorts, a sun hat and a rashguard or sports t-shirt will do just fine. Easy!
On colder days, quick-drying leggings, swim leggings or board shorts, plus a few layers on your top half to protect from the cold and wind (base layer and waterproof jacket), all work well. Please note: we don’t provide wetsuits.
If the weather is warm and the water temperature comfortable, there’s no need don’t need to wear shoes. Paddle board decks have plenty of grip that work just fine with bare feet. You are able to wear shoes on the board, we recommend wearing sneakers. If you want to have a break during your SUP session and get off the board, we recommend you to bring flip flops.
Yes! Don’t forget your phone, you will need it to open and close the locker (and keep an eye on the time). We recommend you to bring an extra set of dry clothes in case you hit the water. Bring a sun block, towel, a bottle of water and of course great enthusiasm!
